The head office is located in Melbourne, Australia while other offices are in Dubai, Dallas and London. The broker promises lightening fast executions, security, low charges and quality client support.
Pepperstone is regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). The brand is also regulated in the UK by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). All client deposits are kept in separate bank accounts from that of the broker.
Pepperstone has implemented modern security technologies on their website, platforms and servers. This is to ensure a digitally safe trading environment for its clients. All customers are verified through submission of a valid government issued ID card and a utility bill.

Over 150 instruments can be traded on the broker’s platforms. There are over 60 currency pairs, 15 indices, 64 share CFDs, 16 commodities and 5 cryptocurrencies. The commodities are made up of precious metals, agricultural products as well as oil and gas energy assets.
Account Types and Trading conditions
Pepperstone asserts that it operates the No Dealing Desk (NDD) broker model. The broker uses multiple liquidity providers for pricing and trade executions. The maximum leverage is 1:500 and at least $200 is required to open any account type. Only a few pages form is required to open an account. Pepperstone accounts can also be opened through Google, Facebook or LinkedIn account integration links found on the registration page. This is for new clients that already have accounts with any of these popular sites.
This account is targeted at new traders. The de facto yardstick used in comparing spreads is the EURUSD and its average spread is 1.0-1.3 pips. No commissions are charged as the trading fees are embedded into the spread.
This account is designed for experienced scalpers and traders who use EAs. The average spread for the EURUSD currency pair is 0.0-0.3 pips. Broker commissions start from $3.5 per side for each standard lot traded.
Demo accounts are free but it expires after 30 days. Swap free Islamic accounts are available on request but they incur admin fees when positions are held beyond a defined period of time (usually 2 days or more).
Deposit And Withdrawal Options
Bank transfers are received from clients’ bank accounts for deposits. It takes 3-5 business days depending on the banks involved. Withdrawals are also processed to clients’ bank accounts. Withdrawal to banks outside Australia are charged a fee of AUD$20.
Online payment solutions like POLi and BPay are also acceptable for payments. PayPal, Neteller and Skrill are the e-wallet payment gateways available to Pepperstone clients. There are no charges for online payments. Mastercard and Visa cards are accepted for deposits and withdrawals. 3% deposit fees are charged for card payments.
Conversion fees are charged anytime Pepperstone converts funds to your base currency.
This is the most popular trading platform used by most forex traders. Pepperstone provides the MT4 as WebTrader and desktop application for MAC OS and Windows PC. The MT4 also has mobile versions designed for iOS and android devices which can be downloaded from the relevant app stores. The MT4 is loaded with tools for technical analysis including charts, indicators and drawing tools. Its capabilities can be further expanded with plugin apps and expert advisors (EAs).
This platform was designed to replace the MT4 by the same company; ‘MetaQuotes Software Corporation’. It was developed to be more powerful than the MT4, so, it enhanced most of all the features found in the MT4. The MT5 has more order types, more indicators, timelines and technical tools. The MT5 is also available as WebTrader and also as mobile and desktop applications.
This is a user friendly platform but powerful in speed and operations. cTrader has advanced order types, customizable charts, multiple indicators and educational videos. Just like the MT4 and MT5, cTrader also supports automated trading through expert advisors. The platform is available as downloadable windows desktop application, WebTrader and as android and iOS mobile apps.

This is an EA building tool that lets a trader to test, optimise and automate his strategies. It is an algorithmic trading solution that is embedded into the cTrader platform.
This is an MT4/MT5 plugin tool that scans the market and notifies the trader when it finds a good trading opportunity. It also has risk management and volatility analysis tools. Clients can also subscribe for daily market reports via Autochartist. The reports are delivered by email.
- Myfxbook: Pepperstone clients can link their accounts in order to benefit from myfxbook’s AutoTrade. This enables a trader to replicate the trades of competent traders.
- ZuluTrade: This popular social trading platform enables Pepperstone clients to copy the trades of expert traders and make a profit without much knowledge or experience.
- RoboX: This enables traders to use an AutoTrade system personalised by the trader to suit his style.
- DupliTrade: This platform allows traders to automatically copy the trades from strategy providers. The minimum capital required in $5,000.
- Mirror Trader: This platform enables traders to acquire and use Algos in trading.
